Bruksela (Belgia) 19-25 czerwca 2017, EU Sustainable Energy Week

EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is back for its 12th edition, from 19 to 25 June 2017 in Brussels and with complementary activities across Europe throughout May and June. Thousands of public authorities, private companies, NGOs and consumers will take part to promote energy efficiency and renewables. It is an ideal platform to showcase your organisation, business or project's contribution to Europe's transition to a clean, secure, efficient energy system.

You can contribute to EUSEW by either hosting a networking activity at the EUSEW Policy Conference, from 20 to 25 June in Brussels, or by organising a local Energy Day for any time in May or June. This year's theme is Clean Energy for All Europeans, inspired by the European Commission's package of proposals to put consumers and growth at the heart of the sustainable energy transition.

The policy conference brings together European Commission representatives and leading sustainable energy stakeholders. If you have implemented a successful initiative to save energy or support the uptake of renewables, there are three ways you can contribute:

- Present and debate your initiative at the Speakers' Corner;
- Host an activity in the conference's Networking Village;
- Pitch your project at the SparkShow, a fast-paced 'game' in which delegates summarise their project in three minutes before facing journalists' questions.

Propose contributions by 31 March using the online forms via the EUSEW networking page. Promotional materials, guidelines, FAQs and a helpdesk address are all available on the EUSEW site to support your participation.

If you prefer to organise a local event, submit it as an Energy Day to be advertised on the Energy Days mapand use downloadable promotional materials. An Energy Day can be any relevant activity – from a workshop, to a competition or a power plant tour – that engages citizens and businesses in energy-saving or awareness of renewables. Registrations are open until the end of June, and the earlier you register your Energy Day, the more visibility it will have.

EUSEW is organised by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in close cooperation with the Directorate-General for Energy. Join us in leading Europe's sustainable energy transition.
