AUTHORITIES

The following bodies are the authorities of the Polish MC WEC: The General Assembly is the highest authority of the Polish MC. It decides on the programme of activities and the selection of the Governing Board and Audit Commission. The General Assembly decides on the annual budgets of the MC, the members fees, approves the annual reports and grants the acceptance to the Governing Board.

The Governing Board is the executive body which implements the decisions of the General Assembly, plays the managerial role in the MC activities, represents the MC to the national authorities and to the WEC.
The Governing Board, counting 7-9 officers, is selected by the General Assembly for the 3-years term.
The activities of the Board are managed by its Chairman. The Secretary of the Board organises the current activities of the MC WEC, keeps the regular contacts with the WEC Central Office in London, implements the decisions and directives of the Central Office, keeps the contacts with the other Member Committees of the WEC and with the members of the Polish MC as well as co-operates with various national institutions.

The Audit Commission is the internal controlling body. Its tasks comprise audits of the activities of the national MC, audits of the budgetary performance and proposing to the General Assembly on granting the acceptance to the Governing Board. The Audit Commission is selected for the 3-years term and counts 3-5 persons.
