ECONOMIC SECTION

Economic section is involved in a number of research and development projects in the field of power sector economy and finances.

Current activities include the following problems:

• conventional filed cost account and new cost categories in electric power industry,
• costs of energy media and their contribution into costs of production in industry and housekeeping expenditure,
• relations between electric energy prices and costs and other branches of national economy,
• energy media costs,
• development of energy balances and forecasts on the primary energy level,
• economic forecasts for the power industry,
• economic account in the power industry,
• economic aspects of renewable energy development in Poland and UE countries.

The section has data files concerning fuel and energy branch, economic calculation procedures and software packages employed in the above-mentioned activities.
