Technical Diagnostics and Modernization of Power Equipment Section
offers services in the following areas:

• Evaluation of technical condition of power equipment (boilers, pipelines, turbines),
• Evaluation of interactions boiler-pipeline-turbine,
• Evaluation of technical condition of fuel tanks and feeder lines for inflammable and toxic media,
• Determination of power equipment failure causes and failure analysis,
• Determination of geodetic variations with respect to design values in boiler-pipeline-turbine systems and determination of resulting stresses,
• Re-calculations of stresses, thermal expansion, torques and forces on the basis of actual data,
• Modifications of route, tension and head in high-pressure and high-temperature pipelines and not easily accessible elements of bpiler - pipeline - turbine systems (e.g. inter-sheet headers),
• Investigations of stresses and forces in critical elements of power units,
• Evaluation of mounting selection on the basis of actual loading forces and mounting adjustment,
• Thickness and hardness measurements in pressure elements,
• Ovalization measurements,
• Determination of modernization ranges in boiler-pipeline-turbine systems on the basis of available documentation and in-field investigations,
• Revision of designs and modernization projects for boiler-pipeline-turbine systems in accordance with Technical Inspection Board regulations.
