INFORMATION ON TRAINING FOR VERIFIERS
INVESTIGATING AND OPINIONING POWER ENTERPRISES REPORTS
APPLYING FOR CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN FROM COGENERATION

The Institute of Power Engineering announces that on 17-18 November 2008 was organized the training for verifiers consulting accuracy of the data contained in annual reports issued by energy companies to obtain certificates of origin from cogeneration. The training included 16 hours of lectures and was ended in an examination test.

OF BIOMASS  AND BIODEGRADABLE WASTE (B&BW)USE FOR POWER GENERATION
- B&BW CONVERTION TO ENERGETIC GASEOUS FUELS

THE PARTICIPATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF POWER ENGINEERING
IN THE FRAMEWORK PROGRAMMES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

Using the experience gained in the years 2002-2006, Institute of Power Engineering was involved in ten projects under FP6, whose acronyms are: BIO PRO, BIO ASH, ENFUGEN, FET-EEU, EIFN, ROADS2HyCOM, BIOFUCEL, INECSE, TRANSMAN, ERMINE. These are both research and training projects. They are related mainly to operational security improvement and power systems development, the use of alternative energy sources and development of high-temperature fuel cells. Projects of 6FP are carried out by Institute of Power Engineering in w Warsaw and Branches of Institute in Gdańsk, Boguchwała i Łódź.
