DEPUTY DIRECTOR FOR SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS

Candidates for the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs should have the following qualifications:

• higher education and the title of professor or post-doctoral degree,
• scientific achievements in the field of electrical or power engineering,
• organizational and management skills in the scope of scientific work and development (documented for a period of at least five years)
• good English skill (additional language skill desired)

Candidates are required to provide the following documents:

• questionnaire with a photograph,
• copies of documents proving their qualificatrions and skills,
• biography (CV),
• health certificate,
• information on the professional career and scientific research achievements.

The competition will be handled the Competition Commission, appointed by the Director of the Institute of Power Engineering.

HIGH-CURRENT LABORATORY will employ electrical technician.

Requirements:

• secondary education,
• experience in assembling electrical circuits, cameras and electrical equipment, cables and cable fittings,
• welcome authorization to 1kV, handling lift trucks, handling crane.

Description of workplace:

• installation of electrical circuits,
• assembly elements in measuring stands,
• handling the main electric meters and power tools,
• laboratory works,
• handling lift trucks and crane.

MEASURING APPARATUS LABORATORY is looking for candidates for the position from technician to metrologist

Main duties:

• carrying out the calibration and testing of measuring instruments,
• participation in the measurement work conducted outside the laboratory,
• working up and analyzing of the measurements results, including the uncertainty budgets and the calibration certificates
• participation in the conducting of research and developmental works in the field of activities of the laboratory,
• carrying on works related to the automation of measurement,
• participation in the updating and developing documents of the laboratory.

Education:

• secondary or higher: technical electrical, electronics or related

Requirements:

• knowledge of measurement techniques used in measuring of the electrical quantities, temperatures,
• the ability to carrying out measurements of electrical quantities and temperatures,
• computer data processing knowledge,
• ability to work in team,
• analytical capabilities and readiness to development,
• knowledge of English allowing literature reading.

Requirements desirable:

• the knowledge of computer programming and data processing,
• experience in the technological field,
• fluency in English.
